Oklahoma TE Jermaine Gresham wish get a piece of NFL jersey and returned for what he hoped would be a national title run.
That dream ended before the 2009 season even started. Gresham had season-ending surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee in September. His knee locked up on him during a drill at practice and doctors decided it was in his best interest to undergo surgery. “I was just running a route,” he said. “No helmet or anything. Freak accident I guess.” Despite the hardship, Gresham is the top-ranked tight end in this year’s draft and he said he has no regrets about not leaving school early. The year away from football gave him a perspective he might not have otherwise found.
“I’ve been yanked and tugged on and not one doctor has said anything bad about it, so the knee is great,” he said. “I’m good to go.”

Idaho’s Iupati
Mike Iupati, a 6-5, 331-pound player can line up at any position on the line. He 's the best guard in the NFL draft. And he has been working out at tackle. But he would really like to play defense.
"I really love defense. That’s my favorite passion of the game," the Idaho offensive lineman said. "I know I’m physical enough to hold up two gaps and take on double-teams. I always pushed my coach to make me a defensive player because I am pretty good at it, but they needed me on offense." "When it comes to football, I like to destroy a lot of people," he said. "It’s fun." But this guy was smooth going with his NFL jerseys.
"They made a big sacrifice, and I’m thankful for that," he said. "My parents want to go back to Samoa, and I want to take care of their dreams. Having a house built there for them would be the biggest thing I’d want to do for them."

NFL hopes to test for HGH
NFL want to test players with NFL jerseys for human growth hormone, and Major League Baseball has started talks with its union to investigate the test that led to the suspension of a British rugby player.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Wednesday that the league had made a proposal to its players in January regarding HGH. Discussions are ongoing, he said. “Our position is that HGH testing has advanced to the point where we are taking steps to incorporate it into our program,” Aiello said. “We have proposed it to the union.” “We believe in and collectively bargained for a system that supports the testing of all banned substances,” he said.
“I’d prefer urine testing. It’s easier, especially for people who are afraid of needles,” said infielder Josh Vitters, the Chicago Cubs’ top draft pick in 2007.

Ex-raiders accuses coach Tom Cable
Former Oakland Raiders assistant Randy Hanson charged head coach Tom Cable and the team with damages suffered during a training camp which resulted a fractured jaw and broken teeth.
The suit alleges that Cable “without warning or provocation” grabbed Hanson during an Aug. 5 coaches meeting at the team’s Napa hotel. Cable then threw Hanson against the wall, causing the left side of Hanson’s face to strike a table, then hit Hanson while he was on the floor, the lawsuit said. The suit alleges that after Cable was restrained by the other coaches, he threatened to kill Hanson. Defensive assistants John Marshall, Willie Brown and Lionel Washington also attended the meeting, the lawsuit says.
We still do not know whom with raiders jerseys had attacked him.

Matt Jones would not be the solution
Wide receiver Matt Jones with bengals jersey would not be put at tight end.
Following a report in the Dayton Daily News that the Bengals were going to line up the 6-foot-6, 218-pounder on the line of scrimmage, the Bengle's official Web site has denied it. Jones is not nearly bulky enough to play end. Although the Bengals have only tight end Chase Coffman under contract currently, they are expected to pursue tight ends through the draft and free agency to bolster the position.
It's clear that Jone is not the solution to that problem.

Bucks deal 2 players to Bulls
Milwaukee Bucks general manager John Hammond tried to take the pressure off of rookie Brandon Jennings, so guard John Salmons will take the load from forwards Hakim Warrickand Joe Alexander.

And once again, I think John’s the kind of player that’s proven he can score.” The Bucks also obtained the Bulls' second-round picks in 2011 and 2012.

Davis has more room to run
Baron Davis with clippers jersey lost his last excuse.
“I got to go out and get back to being my old self now,” Davis told Yahoo! Sports. “Coach Kim is going to allow me to be a little bit freer and play off instincts. So, I just got to get back to that mentality. From there, I think everything else will take care of itself.” With injuries also slowing Davis, the Clippers won just 19 games last season. But for all of the team’s issues – and there were many – the most common diagnosis for the Clippers’ struggles centered on the poor relationship between Davis and Dunleavy.

Lakers' Jackson may take pay cut
Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson have been involved with the Lakers' titles through the past decade. But while the Lakers are expected to work out a multiyear, mega-million extension with Bryant at some point, perhaps the same can't be assumed for Jackson.
According the Los Angeles Times, Lakers sources say if Jackson wants to return, he’ll be asked to take a pay cut from his $12 million annual salary. Jackson recently indicated there could be contract concerns. "People are cutting costs all around the league and coaches are obviously going to take a cut, too, so they may not even want to hire me," Jackson said. "They may want to save some money."
It may resulted from the world economic depression.

Belichick plays an important role
New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick wants to refresh the defense an not hire a coordinator to replace Dean Pees.
“Titles are fine, nothing wrong with them,” Belichick said in a statement on the team Web site Friday, “but the most important thing is each person’s role, that we do everything we can to help the players succeed, everyone collectively getting the job done.” “Corwin Brown is one of the high-class people in football,” Belichick said. “He was a tough, smart leader who was great to coach and those are the traits he brings to our staff.”

Jackson led the team win over Bobcats
It is no doubt that Phil Jackson become the winningest coach in Los Angeles Lakers history. Andrew Bynum got 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Lamar Odom scored 19 points while making several big plays down the stretch, making it solid to win over the Bobcats on Wednesday night.
“It’s been a really good run,” Jackson said. “Having this opportunity to coach this team is always special. The fact that we’ve had some great teams, great players, is always a credit to them. It’s not really an individual record in my mind.” Jackson is the winningest playoff coach in NBA history, and the only coach to win more than 70 percent of his regular-season games.
Jackson really did a good job these years. It is also good to all the players with lakers jerseys.
